Most people believe that they should eat less and exercise more in order to lose weight fast. This statement is generally true, but as you know, devil is in details. If you eat too little and exercise too much, you fat loss will slow down, your body will be fatigued and you may even aggravate some health problems that were dormant in your body. You may end up being depressed and more susceptible to infections.
And again in I Corinthians 3:18-19 it says, “Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a ‘fool’ so that he may become wise. (19) For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight” (NIV). That boggles my human mind. In order to be wise in God’s eyes I need to recognize my limitations of mortality and accept His wisdom, which is the good news of Jesus Christ.
If that was the case and it did care as much as us about all of these things, then we’d all be walking around looking like Greek Gods and Greek Statues with our shirts off constantly. Sadly, it’s not that easy. I wish it was.
You also need to record your workouts. Your workouts need to be progressive, so working out with 45 pound dumbbells one week, 70 pounds the next and 50 pounds the next isn’t going to cut it. Recording each workout will allow you to structure the progression your body needs to develop each body part.
In the late 1980’s to early 1990’s, I was involved in body building. During that period of time, there were a number of chemical hair removers available over the counter, with which I was familiar. I’m sure there were other methods, of which I’m not familiar. The point is… It was a given, that body hair would be removed, to enhance the visibility of the muscle, for better judging. The attire was also kept to a minimum, again, so muscle could be more clearly seen for judging.
